Okay, *necessary inhalation of breath* here’s the thing… I’m not going to speak directly about the aforementioned ships or talk about being delusional shippers etc (because I’ll be extremely biased) but more about general ‘Ship/fandom Wars’.
So say there are 2 ships, ‘Ship A’ and ‘Ship B’ and they have many, many people who side with each ship. Those people are each and individually different.
One of the main reasons that arguments start is because of just one stupid person. A person from ‘Ship A’ will say something childish and tag it to ‘Ship B’. And everyone in ‘Ship B’ happily scrolling through their tag will obviously see this and assume that this opinion represents everything ‘Ship A’ stands for. Which is wrong, it was just one stupid person. Now, a person from ‘Ship B’ will be furious and get ‘Ship A’ back by doing the same thing, innocent people from ‘Ship A’ will be like
which essentially is why when you see a stupid person post something, ignore it.
